St. Malo: This predominently maritime
town hosts events such as the Route du Rhum transatlantic yacht
race. The town has superb coastal
scenery and many places of interest such as the Grand Aquarium.
Mont St. Michel Bay: The bay is
listed as a world heritage site ans is well worth exploring on
foot. Enjoy the sea air, the wonderful
views
and maybe a plate of oysters.
Dinard: This is an excellent seaside
resort. Walking around the top of the city walls, you have tremendous
views of the sea.
Dinan: This is one of Brittany's
finest towns. It retains much of its mediaeval charm with its half-timbered
houses and fascinating
churches.
Concale: An unspoilt seaside town
which is famous for its seafood.
Fourgeres: The forest of Fourgeres
is a vast expanse of beech and oak trees laced with numerous hiking
trails and paths. |
